A blog and video about Oberg PhotoGraphics
A French student at Lund University, Héloïse Dumont, has spent half a year creating a blog devoted to my work as photographer and peace researcher – images and interviews and a video in which I explain various aspects of my work.

It’s just been launched and we hope you’ll visit and comment.

Syria a priority
Since I visited Syria in December last year, I’ve spent 90% of my time learning, writing and building opinion. My photographic work has been suffering, but the choice is clear for me. And I’m going there again in May.

No Easter Art Round exhibit
So, regrettably, there is no new exhibition in my studio during the South Swedish “Easter Art Round” this year.

Changes to the concept
After 8 years, Oberg PhotoGraphics will change. In the future, there will be more unique works, mixed media, smaller editions and higher prices.

New editions
Oberg PhotoGraphics’ homepage has become more easy to navigate. There are a few new works, not the least collages like this:

Other photos are documentary.

Photo stories
My peace researcher work in Syria and my photographics are of course connected.
Here are my six photo stories on the Exposure site now seen by 112.000 people.
Many more who have read about them on social media and alternative media sites. These photos are unique and historic.

There is much too much war pornography. I’ll never work as a war photographer. I’m trying instead to tell human stories and give the voiceless war victims a face. Convey the human potential for peace.

New studio video
Oberg PhotoGraphics’ “Guided Tour Of The Studio” autumn 2016 is now available.

The little girl from Aleppo
I highlight this photograph again here because countless people have told me that they were deeply moved by it.
I believe it’s one of the most important I have ever taken. Here’s why.

*) shoot…
• contains images as a gift to you, a moment of meditation or reflection
• stimulates your art curiosity and shares positive stuff from the global art world
• is a gateway to the online “flip” GlobalArt Magazine and to
• the blog I write as an art recommender, not an art critic
• wings into your mailbox now and then
• tells you what Oberg PhotoGraphics does
• invites you to share your news with me in the field of art

Sometimes I shoot just a single image to a select few shoot recipients.
I believe in global networking, sharing and in positive energy.
Please share with me if you have photo and other art news and views.
